Ambassador ProgramFAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers on what ambassadors do, how they get paid, and what Big Kitty Labs expects at events.
What does an ambassador do?
You source and attend startup, tech, and innovation events in your city. You speak with people building products or improving systems and connect qualified opportunities to Big Kitty Labs.
Do I need to be technical?
No. You are not expected to provide technical advice. Your role is to identify opportunities and schedule discovery calls.
What counts as a qualified lead?
A lead is qualified only if a discovery call is scheduled and you capture key details about the project or company.
Who should I be talking to?
Founders, startup teams, operators inside established companies, and teams exploring AI, automation, or new systems.
How do I find events?
Attend events you already go to, search platforms like Meetup, Eventbrite, and LinkedIn, and follow local startup and tech communities.
Do I need approval before attending events?
Yes. All events must be submitted and approved before you attend as a Big Kitty Labs ambassador.
How much can I earn?
You earn $70 per event and $100 per lead that converts. There is no cap.
When do I get paid?
Event payments are processed weekly via Zelle and only after your recap is submitted. Lead bonuses are paid once a lead converts into business.
What should I say to people?
Keep it simple: ask what they are working on, listen for real needs, and offer to connect them with the Big Kitty Labs team.
What should I not do?
Do not provide pricing, promise timelines, offer technical consulting, or make commitments on behalf of Big Kitty Labs.
I’m over 21. Can I drink at events?
No. While representing Big Kitty Labs, you are expected to remain professional at all times.
What happens if I do not get a lead?
You still get paid for attending the event. Leads are additional upside.
What do I need to submit after an event?
Within 24 hours: leads booked, proof of LinkedIn post, event recap, and 3+ photos.
